I know this is a comparatively trivial point, but I was just doing a little count of how the 'brakhot' we say really add up to 100 every day (it says in the Talmud you should say 100 brakhot every day..the Rambam in hil. Tefilah 7:14 counts them up..but this is the only time I really did it of my own accord):
21-ברכות השחר
57-תפילת ה"עמידה" שלוש פעמים ביום
2-ברכת טלית ותפילין
7-ברכות ק"ש שחרית וערבית
1-ק"ש שעל המיטה
1-ברוך מקדש שמו
2-ברכת "אשר יצר" לפחות פעמיים ליום
4-ברכת המזון
5-ולפחות שלוש ברכות ראשונות ושתי ברכות אחרונות על מיני אוכלים
So we see if one just actually says the minimum prayers that must be said, and a few of the regular blessings throughout the day it usually comes to a hundred anyway. But still, it's good to be at least somewhat conscious of it.

I've always been curious about how that would work out if I actually took count of it. But that list obviously only works for the average male (although I'm sure you realize it already), discounting women (ex. no tefillin), the extremely poor (ex. no food on regular basis), and even (for the sake of argument) those with bladder issues. Just saying.
And this comment is only because I forgot to subscribe.
Forgot to subsribe to...?
Again my friend, even with little food or no teffilin you're already close to the ninties anyway. But anyway, the whole tefillin thing is only two brakhot, girls can make that up with the brakhah on challah, nerot shabbat or tevilat mitzvah or something.
Thanks for taking interest by the way. : )
"..the extremely poor (ex. no food on regular basis)"- For G-d's sake man, if you haven't got food on a regular basis I don't know if counting 100 brakhot is really your most important passtime!

Maybe they're not bored enough to COUNT the 100 brachot (as even the average person has more than that one their mind), but their desire to fulfill it probably still stands.
And as for girls having extra mitzvot on some days- Uh, I didn't know we have rollover mitzvot.... It's 100 per day. Saying 101 one day and 99 the next just doesn't seem the intent of this concept of 100 brachot per day.
Oh, come on Rachel, you know girls don't really count in Judaism anyway! This is a mans' religion! ; )
Rachel - Whatever you say gets me laughing. Your second comment too funny. Roll-over brochos....
Shlomo - Man's religion, gei feifen.
May we run into a problem on Shabbos?
OYYYY me too forgot!!!! ROFLLLL!!!
mishmum: wha?? You've got to talk to me slowly!..
...to subscribe, hence the second comment.
ok, but what's "gei feifen" then? ..I think it means go -something-..(go "*ahem* yourself" maybe?)..
And what does "May we run into a problem on Shabbos?" mean? You mean do girls (or guys for that matter) say less brakhot on Shabbat? Yeah, of course, but you've got more 'amida's and more 'birkhat hamazon's etc..
"Gei Feifen" means like, get outta here or like, go fly a kite
In response to, "It's a man's religion" I said, "Get outta here, with that statement" Like, go fly a kite with that statement...
NOW you farshtei?? Good.
(See if i comment again...:))
Maybe that is why you eat so much on Shabbos to make up the brochos?
that's cool I never thought to count it up.
Rachel: that was funny about Rollover Brachos.
Shlomo: there's also the fact that woman don't usually daven maariv, so they loose a bunch that way.
I made sure to remember. But even if I forget, then I usually try to think of something else to say so that they can't tell I forgot, lol.
that's also why inline is great cause then you can subscribe without commenting.
Mishmum: that's funny about eating more on shabbos. But it's because you have a double neshama.
