Look; you wrote this is July and I haven't seen it till now!

It says in the Talmud "חמירא סכנתא מאיסורא" ("Danger is more severe than a prohibition"), in other words 'it's more of a sin to do somthing, or eat something, or not do something, that will put you in danger'.

For example; in Green Bay there were some cows that we deemmed to be not-kosher obviously, and some that we found to be ok, but that the USDA people found to be 'contaminated'. According to halakha the contaminated cow is 'more prohibted' to eat than the cow that's just 'not kosher'.

This is true, in my opinion, to a much larger extent in regards to many things. For example, the food products we eat. Many of the fat Chasidish mothers buying food for their families at the Supermarkets are marked as being 'kosher', but in essence none of it is kosher! It's all terrible for the body- food that is so unhealthy is in no way 'kosher'! Food colorings are not 'kosher'! Transfat is not 'kosher'! Food that was taken far, far from it's origional form with the use of chemicals is not 'kosher'! When we say 'bore pri ha'adama' and 'bore pri ha'etz' that's not what we're talking about! We're talking about fresh friuts and vegetables coming straight from the worm infested dirt!

You smoke? You don't get sun? I became brown when I was in LA (I was out a lot).

"Lack of exercise, CHECK"- And remember, it's not just 'di lomo', everybody would look a little better if they exercised. I'm sure if you're dating, whoever you are dating would look at you differentely if you worked out, etc.. Carbs, check check check.
